Critical Update for Microsoft Windows

Microsoft has released an important security update. It is important to get this update as soon as possible, because it can prevent spyware from installing on your computer. The January 5th patch fixes the WMF exploit, which can install spyware by simply displaying pictures on a web page. You don't have to do anything but view the bad picture to get infected. By applying the patch from Microsoft, you can prevent this from happening. Visit this Microsoft page to get the update and protect your computer.

SpywareBlaster v3.5.1

A new version has been released. If you check for updates in the built in updater, you will be notified, but you will have to manually download and install the new version yourself. Visit Javacool's page to download SpywareBlaster first. Then open the older version and disable all of the protections you have enabled. After you have done that, uninstall the old SpywareBlaster 3.4. Once uninstalled, you can instal the new version, SpywareBlaster 3.5.1 and enable the protections again. The new version comes fully updated, but it is a good idea to check to see if there are any new ones.

The new version is supposed to have more frequent updates. We will see how this turns out.
